Orbital Hospitality Corp has made history by welcoming the first paying guests to its Aurora Station, the world's first commercial space hotel orbiting 250 miles above Earth.
The station accommodates up to 12 guests at a time, offering: - Panoramic observation decks with 360-degree Earth views - Zero-gravity recreation areas - Gourmet dining prepared by Michelin-starred chefs - Guided spacewalk experiences for certified guests
The inaugural group of six guests, who each paid approximately $2.5 million for a seven-day stay, described the experience as "life-changing."
"Seeing Earth from space gives you a perspective that no photograph can capture," said one of the first guests. "It fundamentally changes how you think about our planet."
The company plans to expand capacity and reduce costs over the next five years, with a goal of making orbital stays accessible for under $500,000 by 2030.
